Dageraad Stud’s founding father is DAGERAAD (G.Ramiro Z x Nimmerdor x Joost), so far the only (permanent) KWPN licenced stallion that has ever serviced in South Africa.

Dageraad was put down on December 27th, 2008. His son AXEL (Dageraad x Metall x Wolfgang) is fully licenced by SAWHS on July 31st, 2009. The expectation is that Axel will give as much “Morning Light” to the South African warm blood breeding as Dageraad has proven continuously.

At DB&FC we offer frozen semen from the stallions we have available for services, our mares and foals, our mare care and quarentine facility. You are welcome to pay us a visit and to make use of our guest house. Lucerne, teff and oat hay and the famous “Havens” horse feed imported from the Netherlands, are for sale .

DIEC encompasses training, instruction and horse trade activity. We offer stable facilities, schooling and training of young horses, instruction of riders in dressage, show jumping and eventing.
