Mare Care and Quarantine

Dageraad Stud offers insemination, livery and foaling facilities for mares, whether in foal of a Dageraad Stud stallion or not. Foals can grow up in a hurt, which improves the character of the foal.

Imported mares who are in foal are obliged to stay in quarantine until the foal is born and tested.
Dageraad Stud is in the Western Cape the Quarantine station nearest to Cape Town and it offers excellent services.

Both our foaling stables and quarantine facilities are guarded by infra red warning systems and video camera's
